James 4: 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

MESSAGE

Draw Nigh To God means “Intimate Relationship” with the Lord. Intimacy begins with a Desire For The Lord First, above All Else, a desire for fellowship! When this desire is present, The Holy Spirit will then help take us into this blessed fellowship where we come to Know our Father through praise and worship; through prayer and sharing of our hearts; through fellowship with our brothers and sisters; through the studying of His word through spending quiet and quality time Alone With Him! One cannot get to “know someone” unless one spends quality time with someone! However, We must be willing; We must have the desire; The longing, the Thirst, the Hunger for Him must be embedded in our hearts; We must make the first move; We must first be willing to “DRAW NIGH TO GOD” and He will surely Draw Nigh To Us. This he desires, this he longs for, this he awaits, for HE Loves Us So!

But, seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and All these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”(Matt 6:25-35)

God says that never will He leave you or forsake you. God is not a lier and so He will never leave you. What does happen though is that we turn our backs on God and walk away from Him. Jeremiah 3:22 , “Return you backsliding children, And I will heal your backsliding”. You first have to return to God and then he will forgive you and heal your backsliding.”

God says that he will bless all that you put your hand to. Unless you put your hand to something, God can not bless it. I have encountered many who fail to grasp this concept. God always takes what you have and then blesses it. He takes what you are doing and blesses it. If you are doing nothing and are not giving God anything to work with, then how can God take it and bless it.

If you are believing God for something, then be diligent and start taking the step and providing the way for God to supply it. If you need to be healed and are believing God for healing, unless you step out in faith, Step out in faith and create a situation where God is able to come through for you and to give you the desires of your heart.

Finally Beloved, Realise the urgent importance of constant closeness to God. The power of the attraction increases, not just simply but exponentially, when you are close to God. There are always powerful, almost irresistible forces pulling us away and they are forces of the flesh and of the world. There is no safety or stability except in closely clasped contact with the Eternal Father, the Source and Power of holiness and life and light. The word of God says in Proverb 8: 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
